ABOUT THE FOUNDER:
In 2014, Zuzzie Kapas founded Embodied Art Of Life to share her interdisciplinary approach to living a soulfully embodied life through individual sessions, workshops, and collaborative retreats.
With over a decade of specialized hands-on experience as a somatic practitioner and movement artist, Zuzzie empowers individuals to embark on journeys of inner transformation to find a sense of wholeness. Through workshops centered on embodied self-discovery and relational intelligence, she cultivates inclusive spaces that foster a profound sense of belonging and connection.
With extensive global experience, Zuzzie contributed to many nature-based retreats and private events as a co-organizer, eco-somatic workshop facilitator, and wellness practitioner. She continues to lead somatic movement immersions and conduct transformative self-discovery workshops locally and internationally.
Zuzzie has been a dynamic leader in the wellness industry. Over the past five years in Los Angeles, California, Zuzzie has contributed to treatment teams across eleven mental health institutions, enhancing programming through the integration of somatic practices and expressive arts.
Prior to that, in Dallas, Texas, Zuzzie played a key role in community-building, leading initiatives by organizing events, advocating for causes, and managing eco-sustainability and women’s rights projects. Through her consulting services, she provided organizational development for both large corporations and small businesses, supporting operational strategy and business development with a focus on enhancing employee wellness, fostering a sense of belonging, and integrating sustainable business practices to benefit both people and the planet.
Zuzzie is passionate about cultivating alliances to establish a holistic wellness retreat center set in a lush natural environment, offering a serene space for guests to reset, reconnect with nature, and embark on personal growth and healing.
